5 Dirt Cheap Tactics to Create Bulk Digital Content
In this post I’m going to show you the 5 dirt cheap tactics I use to create bulk digital marketing materials including social media, articles, blog posts & autoresponder email sequences. We’ve all been conditioned to believe that writing articles and blogging or simply writing posts for social media takes a ton of time. Well your right. Kind of.
TACTIC # 1: Use A Guest Blogger
There are literally THOUSANDS of writers looking to get published. It’s an excellent way for them to build up their work, get links and ultimately get paid. Until then, they will provide their work for free… usually in exchange for a back-link or a portfolio mention. Add a guest blogger link to your website and watch the number of offers you get.
TACTIC # 2: Article Directories
In the past, writers and online marketers created content and published it on various online directories for FREE for use by other publishers (you.) While there is an ongoing debate about the SEO value and marketing efficacy THAT’S NOT WHAT WE’RE TALKING ABOUT. Nope, I’m merely suggesting that it’s a quite legitimate to get FREE CONTENT from these websites and publish it in accordance with the terms of use.
TACTIC # 3: Syndication
As a writer I do this… I am often approached by publishers who’ve read my work and they as if they might syndicate it. Basically this means they offer to publish it on their website in exchange for either payment (usually not the case for small indie websites) or exposure, back-links, product placement, barter advertising etc. The bottom line though is this — if you want more “exclusive” content, syndication is an option.
TACTIC # 4: Private Label Rights
PLR is cheap content you can purchase for a few dollars. Granted it’s more likely many other publishers have purchased a license to use the same content — but that’s why I’ll purchase it and the re-write or edit it to make it uniquely my own. Unlike the previous free methods, PLR has a fee associated with it. The uniqueness or speciality of the content determines the price. For instance it’s possible to buy 10 articles about some topic for as low as $3! If the publisher restricts release, the cost would be higher. You can use the content as determined by the rights offered.
TACTIC # 4.1: PLR — Continued
PLR is one of the quickest ways to get content for your publishing needs. Like I mentioned, you really should personalize it for more exclusivity but if time is against you or it’s not that important — skip it and publish. You’ll be amazed at just how much PLR content is available. There are entire training courses, ebooks, email sequences, newsletters and all for just a few bucks! In many instances you can put your name on the work too and seeing the same content twice is slim at best.
TACTIC # 5: Hire A Ghostwriter
The content available using FREE methods works well enough if you have the time to rework the content for uniqueness or specific application. If however you want content that is uniquely your own, custom written, where you own all the rights and control the timeline too then HIRE A GHOSTWRITER capable of quickly creating content specific to your needs, a professional ghostwriter removes all the issues of content duplication, copyrights and delivers your work on-time as agreed. Many ghostwriters also include publishing and promotion services too.
FOLLOW THE RULES
Legitimately using content from approved sources drastically reduces the time required to publish. However you must abide by the rules and honor all terms offered. Content is never free — there’s always some “payment” even if it’s just a link back.
Assuming it’s permitted, take the content and CHOP IT UP for repurposing. It’s great for social media.
BONUS: If you want royalty free images… they exist too, great for articles, blog posts and such. Just use your favorite web search to locate the image directories.
