Bikal Tech at ICT Week Uzbekistan 2023: Paving the Way for AI-Driven Development in the Country
October 24–27, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Bikal Tech, an AI company, has participated in the ICT Week 2023 held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on October 24–27, 2023. The event was a great opportunity for Bikal Tech to collaborate with government ministries, universities, and industries to promote the adoption of AI in Uzbekistan. The CEO of Bikal Tech, Raj Sandhu, along with his team, of Operations Director Jas Dahil, Head of Product Development Maykhel De Leon, and Data Analyst Sirojiddin Dushaev, conducted various sessions at Amity University and attended a “Future of Artificial Intelligence and Global Integration” session at Inha University, where experts from Huawei, Sberbank, Amazon, and government AI departments shared their insights on the future development of AI.
During the event, Bikal Tech had the opportunity to discuss with other tech companies its AI technologies to the attendees. The company also had a chance to talk with Minister of Digital Technologies — Sherzod Shermatov and discuss the potential of AI in Uzbekistan. Bikal Tech aims to contribute to the country’s economic growth and development by making Uzbekistan an AI-focused country. Not just for in-country use, but also export AI product from Uzbekistan.

The ICT Week Uzbekistan is a significant annual event in the field of information technology that has been taking place in Uzbekistan since 2004. The event began with a press conference focused on the opening ceremony of the ICT Week Uzbekistan 2023, followed by the ICT Expo 2023. Other events during the week included a startup summit, a digital government summit, an EBRD Star Venture Summit, a Central Asian “IPv6 Enhanced” Summit, a forum on empowering women in IT, a forum on outsourcing to Uzbekistan for digital transformation, a World Bank session on succeeding in the e-commerce market in Uzbekistan, and B2G sessions between the Ministry and private sector.
Overall, ICT Week 2023 Uzbekistan provided a platform for local and international companies, government officials, and experts to discuss and showcase the latest advancements in technology and their impact on various sectors. It also highlighted the government’s efforts to promote digital transformation in Uzbekistan and attract foreign investment in the IT sector.
