In his article about global warming author Bill Mckibben shared his thoughts on global warming. Global warming is caused by carbon dioxide and chemicals and pollutants. Child labor has always existed and has not stopped unless we do something, they have harsh labor, low wages, and it is unjust. There is inequality everywhere, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. But there are solutions to these problems. There are foundations and organizations who help these kinds of global issue.

Global Warming, child labor, inequality, and world hunger are global issues we see today, but there is hope of a change. Global Warming was discovered in the late 1980’s. The reason the earth has increasing temperatures is because of global warming. Global warming is caused by big amounts of carbon dioxide, chemicals and other pollutants, released into the atmosphere. A group of climatologists came up with hypothesis of what will happen if we do not change our habits. The carbon dioxide will increase more by each year, there will be rising waters, higher temperatures, more droughts, longer seasons. Bill mckibben says in his article about Global Warming. “So maybe we should think of global warming in a different way as the great moral crisis of our moment, the equivalent in our time of the civil rights movement of the world. All over the world people are suffering from harsh weathers and natural disasters. The artic is melting little by little but fast, this means the animals who habitat there are dying due to the melting ice caps. Polar bears are dying because, the Artic is there home and the ice caps are melting, they cannot find any food. The same thing happens to the penguins.

Another global issue we have today in this world is child labor. Child labor has always existed, end even to this day it has not stopped. This is due to the necessities of the family because, they do not have enough money for the whole family. Mostly third world countries have factories in which they have child labor with unharsh conditions. They sometimes work for 16 hours a day when they should not. They get low wages, harsh labors and punishments, the work is painful. Children cannot go to school. They either do not have time or cannot afford to go. Poverty is one if the reason child labor exists. This is cruel, they cannot enjoy there childhood which they diverse. This leads to world hunger.

World hunger is one of the main global issues. People sometimes live with less than one dollar or two a day. This is due to the economic system of each country and also from decades ago because of high powered countries and colonizers overthrowing other countries to get the things they want for their country. Third world countries are rich because of the materials and things it has which other countries do not have. The only thing is that the people make it poor. This is how it comes to world hunger.

To change these global issues we can change our habits to decrease the carbon dioxide released in the air. Ways we can do this is by, turning off the lights when not in use, use carpool or walk, recycle, get into organization to help this problem. We can get into organizations to help this problem. We can also help to take actions regarding factories to stop child labors and improve work conditions. Also we can get into the organizations to help people who are in need of food and money. There are many ways we can help but it all starts with people.
