Bionic Ape Whitepaper & Tokenomics
The Bionic Ape project is a series of 5,555 unique robotic ape’s, a first of its kind, bionic species with hand drawn traits, and an artistically curated collection allowing holders to participate in staking, and a play to earn game called BAPEscape. Our values of integrity, transparency and community involvement have been the core focus of the project. With time — we’ve evolved from just an idea to solidifying a model that demonstrates proof of concept. Beyond the general strategy of allowing holders to trade the art on a secondary marketplace, the key element is inclusion and open member participation + a particular emphasis on self-improvement, knowledge, web3 awareness, kindled with a community first focus.
The founding team is fully doxxed, with diverse sets of skills not only inside the cryptosphere, but also years of experience building businesses outside of the blockchain. We’ve partnered together to elevate the idea of community involvement, and in parallel, bring more awareness to the rapidly growing concept that lies within the limitless potential of Web3.
The Game
BAPEscape
BAPEscape is an in development game, which would allow Bionic Ape NFT holders to participate in. The story of the game is that the player is a runner who is escaping the devolved humans which are trying to eliminate the Bionic Ape for parts and resources. The general objective of the game is to run, jump, slide over obstacles and collect as many radioactive bananas as possible, which would act as an in-game token, plus give the character the energy to advance further in the game.
The play to earn element is the collection of radioactive bananas which are converted into $BAPE coins to be used within our ecosystem. Player upgrades, skins, and other in-game items will be available to claim using $BAPE. The game will launch as a BETA version, and will have regular updates to evolve the game into becoming the pinnacle of P2E gaming combined with non-fungible-tokens.
$BAPE Tokenomics
$BAPE tokens are created to enhance and fuel the ecosystem developed by the Bionic Apes within the Ethereum network.
$BAPE token is an utility-based token with multiple usage from future NFT breeding, in-game accessories and other implementations of Bionic Ape’s roadmap. The goal of the $BAPE token is designed to be a community-based token that rewards both investors and players of the game.
Token Supply & Distribution
A total maximum supply of 200 million tokens will be ever created and largely distributed to our investors and players of our play-to-earn game that’s currently in development.
Only 1% of the tokens are pre-mined to be injected into the market to begin the liquidity.
No team members own any $BAPE tokens. A buy and sell tax is implemented as compensation to the team members and owners of the Bionic Apes. The team is only incentivized when the usage of the $BAPE token increases and acts as a motivation to the team to strive and deliver the best of the community, investors and players of the game.
How To Buy $BAPE Tokens
$BAPE tokens will soon be available on Uniswap. The two ways to own $BAPE tokens is through purchasing from our initial liquidity or through the staking of the Bionic Apes NFTs. Instructions on how to purchase $BAPE on Uniswap will be released once it has been released.

$BAPE tokens will only be created by the stakers of the Bionic Apes NFT collection. When $BAPE tokens are being used, 50% will be rewarded to the Bionic Apes team and 50% will be added back into the staking pool to ensure the stakers of the NFT will be earning the $BAPE tokens in the years to come.

The beginning desired starting price of $BAPE tokens will be $0.01.* It will be available for trading on Uniswap in Q2 of 2022.
Tokenomics & Usage
$BAPE token will have multiple uses to further build and develop the Bionic Apes ecosystem. It is designed to create more NFTs to increase the number of play-to-earn players, rewarding players that play the game and much more.
Below is a list of usage for the $BAPE tokens
Usage #1: Creation Of New & Future NFTs
$BAPE tokens are used to purchase Radioactive Bananas (a tradeable NFT in the Ethereum network) to evolve or devolve the Bionic Apes Genesis NFT for the 2nd collection of the Bionic Apes. The goal is to allow our Bionic Apes Genesis NFT holders to create more NFTS and play-to-earn players for the game, BAPEscape.
Usage #2: In-Game Upgrades
BAPEscape is a competitive, play-to-earn game. Players will also be able to customize their own character and have better attributes from increasing speed, special skills and doubling of rewards. These customization and attribution items are claimable through the in-game Loot Boxes which are purchasable with the $BAPE tokens.
Usage #3: In-Game Rewards Enhancement
BAPEscape is designed to reward players who play. Players will be able to collect our in-game currency, Microchips, which could be exchanged for $BAPE tokens. Each day, there will only be a defined maximum attempt within a 24 hour period to collect Microchips. If all attempts are being used, players will be able to purchase from attempts with their $BAPE tokens.
Usage #4: Partaking In Future Giveaways
$BAPE token is designed to be a community token. In the near future, community members and players will be able to purchase their chance for giveaways the Bionic Apes team will be hosting. These giveaways can be anything from physical merchandise, whitelist spots with other NFT projects that the Bionic Ape has collaboration with and much more.

The Next Drop
After the Bionic Ape genesis collection, we will be releasing our next collection of Evolved and Devolved Bionic Ape’s. The collection will be entirely at random, and will have an evolved version of the BAPE plus a devolved version. The evolved Bionic Ape’s will be a SUPER bionic and a far more superior version than its predecessor on a fully robotic level.
On the other end, the devolved version will be a more humanized version but be a far more intelligent being. It will still have robotic tendencies, but possess a greater amount of intuition than its counterpart.
Bionic Ape NFT holders will be able to claim a radioactive banana NFT which will transform their Bionic Ape. When ingested, the result will be at 50/50 odds of generating an either evolved or devolved version of their Bionic Ape. The holder will be able to claim the radioactive banana using $BAPE tokens, or participate in the next drop without holding a Bionic Ape NFT and minting using $BAPE coin.
Less powerful, but far more superior in intelligence. This version of the Bionic Ape is closer to the human side, and will tie in to the evolution of the BAPEscape game.
The evolved Bionic Ape which is far more powerful than its counterpart, can overtake and control far more enemies and progress through the game with power, yet is easier to manipulate and tame.
How does the next drop affect the development of the game?
In the current 3D P2E game, the player is structured to be an endless runner, escaping all of its enemies who are trying to scrap the Bionic Ape for parts and resources. Its sole purpose is survival, by powering itself consuming radioactive bananas to keep moving, and eventually making it out of the apocalyptic run down town that consumed their fall-out shelter. If able to advance far enough, they will be met with a free and open world game which only holders will have access to.
