Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) Announces and Welcomes New Founding Members From Across The Globe

WASHINGTON, D.C. — January 25, 2017 — Last week, The Bitfury Group, the world’s leading full service Blockchain company, in collaboration with international law-firm Covington, launched the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) around the World Economic Forum 2017 Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

Today the GBBC released a list of thirty-three founding members. The list is comprised of global business leaders and innovators who represent twenty-five countries, including Australia, Argentina, Barbados, Brazil, Canada, China, Estonia, France, Georgia, Haiti, Hong Kong, India, Latvia, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The mission of the GBBC is to bring together the world’s leading businesses to educate on the latest innovations and advances in Blockchain technology and advocate for the technology’s global adoption. They are primarily responsible for growing and maintaining a vibrant global network that bridges the Blockchain and business worlds — connecting local innovators with the GBBC and facilitating substantive worldwide partnerships across sectors.
