Thank you for this piece. Yours is perhaps the most detailed that I have read so far. However, I see no mention of what is to happen with the projects that got hit by the black hat. I sense that the attitude is “happens, we will go through it”. However, there are 30m missing, 2 projects have lost all their contributors ETH and one is struggling to explain to its users what happened and what’s next. The Ethererum community is silent about these important consequences, leading me to personally believe that there is not much of an actual community, just interest. I am not sure that losing 30m of people’s ETH is sinking deep enough into the community’s collective mind. Can you imagine what would have happened in the “legacy” financial system? Noone is to blame, 30m gone, sorry. Crypto is really different. Just not in the way that imagined.
