BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) Node Application Now Begins in Communities
Calling for Quality Projects and Institutions Around the World!
Initiated by the TRON Protocol, the layer 2 cross-chain scaling solution BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) is going to be launched. In order to explore projects with potential on the TRON public chain and maintain a healthy, flourishing TRON ecosystem, we hereby announce that BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) node application is now open to communities.
Developers, blockchain enthusiasts, aspiring members of TRON’s global community, institutions, and project teams are all welcome to sign up for a chance to witness and pioneer this cross-chain revolution.
BitTorrent Chain (BTTC), the first heterogeneous cross-chain interoperability protocol on TRON, is co-developed by the core teams of BitTorrent and TRON, whose members are all from top-notch internet companies across the world. The protocol adopts a POS (Proof of Stake) consensus mechanism and deploys multiple nodes to validate transactions.
In a bid to further enhance the BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) ecosystem and tap the talent for community management, the team behind BTTC has decided to bring forward the launch of BTTC node application and recruit quality nodes from global communities.
It is known that nodes have always been playing a vital role in public chains as they evolve. They ensure smooth operation of the entire public chain system while serving as the direct representation of the blockchain value of decentralization.
BTTC adopts a PoS consensus mechanism and is compatible with EVM. As a general rule, an institution or individual needs to stake a certain amount of tokens as required to apply to be a node on the PoS chain. Nodes that fulfil their functions will receive rewards from the system. This mechanism again testifies to the decentralized and secure nature of BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) as a heterogeneous cross-chain solution.

Minimum 1TB SSD (make sure it is expandable)
1Gb/s broadband (expected to transfer 3–5TB of data per month)
