Hello everyone,

Welcome back to the Bitswift monthly community update, the place where you can read all of the newest updates regarding Bitswift. This month we will be discussing the continuous development of Bitswift and some instructions for managing your own tokens. Lets get this monthly update started!

Bitwsift Blockchain — How to move Bitswift tokens to your own account

After the Bittrex delist we received many questions from our community members regarding where they should store their Bitswift tokens. In an effort to help everyone we have made a short tutorial on this subject below.

The short answer is, don’t use an exchange as your personal account. You should store your tokens in an account you and only you control. In order to create your own Bitswift blockchain account, you should visit the page with the following link:

https://bitswift.network:27876/index.html

The link will take you to an interface which can be seen below. Here you can choose to Login with an existing account, or create a new one as shown below in Figure 1.

Figure 1. Bitswift blockchain — sign in.

After that, you will be shown a picture as seen in Figure 2, where you will have your own automatically generated passphrase along with the Public Account Address. If you don’t like having an automatically generated passphrase you can always choose your own passphrase, but for security reasons it is probably safer if you let the system generate one for you. The passphrase essentially unlocks access to your account, and your the only one that should know it. So keep it safe and don’t lose or share it!

Be careful to store your passphrase safely, as this is going to be your way of accessing your blockchain account later on.

Figure 2. Creating a Bitswift Blockchain Account

After validating your passphrase, you will be lead to an interface as seen on Figure 3 below. There you will be able to find your own Account address to which you can deposit Bitswift tokens and many other things like digital assets totals, the asset exchange, alias registration, etc.

Figure 3. Blockchain Interface

If you want to deposit your tokens, all you have to do is deposit them on your account address that can be found underneath “Your Account”, which in the above example is: ARDOR-VF3W-VD95-K3RQ-7HQ7S

Great! Now you know how to get your Bitswift blockchain account that YOU control. You are halfway there to becoming a Bitswift crypto jedi ninja, patience.

Now you can login to your crypto exchange account (Bittrex) and withdrawal the Bitswift token balance to your Bitswift blockchain account. To do this you would log in and specify a withdrawal of the BITS asset indicating your personal address in the withdrawal field on Bittrexs platform as seen below. Note that it is not required to populate the message field when withdrawing from Bittrex to the Bitswift blockchain.

Now that you have withdrawn your tokens off Bittrex and into your own Blockchain account which you control, you are free to do with them what you please. Feel free to send them to other accounts, or use them on the blockchain to perform any write action such as registering an alias, executing a p2p trade, or uploading data into the chain to preserve its integrity or prove you own it.

Adding BITS/BTC pair — Decentralized Exchange update

We have been actively working on bringing BTC to our decentralize asset exchange where we will spawn a BITS/BTC market. This process takes time as we want to ensure we are doing it right, specifically if we are adding Bitcoin to our platform we want to insure the security and the integrity beyond expectations for our customers.

We are extremely excited about this project as it will provide our users a safe and secure interface to the decentralized exchange, with Bitswift.cash providing a gateway service for the DEX and between other blockchains.

Bitswift.cash updates

https://bitswift.cash is working perfectly and it keeps running without any issues.

Bitswift.cash — Dashboard Transparency

The number of Verified and Registered Citizens keeps steadily rising. Currently there are 205 Verified Citizens and 360 Registered Citizens. Comparing to the last month when there were 175 Verified Citizens and 320 Registered Citizens, the number of Verified Citizens increased by 27, while the number of Registered Citizens increased by 40. Looks like the Bitswift community keeps growing month after month as the publicly available data says so.

We are planning to add a referral system in a future update to help gain some traction on the platform. Users will earn crypto-rewards for their passive participation in promoting the platform and facilitating the platforms growth. So be ready to tell your friends about Bitswift.cash and get ready for the perks that will come with it.

LZLZ Forging pool

You can receive rewards from Bitswifts LZLZ forging pool which happen 15th of every month. Check the https://bitswift.network where we provide transparent information about Forging pool stats. If you have some Ardor in your account that you’re not using, try leasing it and earn some crypto-rewards from our forging pool where you may earn transaction fees in the form of Ardor tokens just for participating.

Forging Pool Stats — Bitswift.network

If you want to participate and receive monthly rewards, it is pretty easy, just lease your Ardor balance to: ARDOR-LZLZ-7PT2–7YRP-2QS2H, we will handle the rest.

That is all for this community update. It is the weekend after all and we have had a long weeks worth of work.. so time to relax, and you know what that means, a glass of wine, your favorite easy chair, and of course, some crypto charts!
