Hello Bitswift Community,

First of all, Happy New Years and hope everyone’s holidays went well.

We just wanted to provide a quick update here regarding our migration into the Ardor child chain and let you all know where we are at with some things.

Ardor Launch:

Ardor main net started without issues at 00:00 UTC January 1st at which point Bitswift became one of the most fully featured blockchain platforms on the market. Bitswift inherited most of the features of the NXT platform, which we believe is one of the most underrated blockchain platforms in the crypto-verse. Users Bitswift balances migrated from the Nxt asset to their final destination inside the new Bitswift chain. Users are now able to download the Ardor client and access their Bitswift tokens while utilizing all of the new features offered by the Bitswift blockchain.

You can download the latest Ardor client here: http://www.ardorplatform.org/download-ardor-blockchain-platform

The Bitswift dev team has launched and secured a web based node that you can access here:

https://bitswift.network:27876/index.html

This in combination with our block explorer which we are currently working on and can be found here : bitswift.network.

The Bitswift blockchain is now fully featured, Bitswift tokens fully secured, and the Bitswift network fully accessible.

Ignis Drop:

Part of the migration into Ardor included an airdrop of 10% of the Bitswift supply total on top of all Ignis holders. The purpose of our airdrop was to expand on our community in the right direction and to increase exposure on the Bitswift ecosystem while ensuring the drop would not negatively affect our market. We are pleased to report that our airdrop was a success with Ignis users reporting a Bitswift balance on the Ardor platform. For approximately every 2500 Ignis tokens on account, the users would have received 1 Bitswift token. Please keep in mind the total and circulating supply of Bitswift tokens is only 3.88 million (only 3.88 million tokens exist so there’s not many really to go around). Unfortunately it does not seem like Bittrex is going to partake in the Bitswift airdrop, so if your Nxt were on Bittrex at the time of the snapshot, you probably will not receive your free Bitswift airdrop.

Bittrex Market:

Speaking of Bittrex, we are still waiting on news from Bittrex regarding opening our market back up. We have a response from them that basically says “we will get back to you at some point”. We have good faith in Bittrex, and realize they are super busy people, so best we can do is practice our patience while we wait for the Bittrex market for Bitswift to re-open. We recommend users who are looking to exchange Bitswift tokens to use the new Ardor Coin Exchange (ACE) which is built right into the Ardor client and can be accessed directly from our hosted webnode here : https://bitswift.network:27876/index.html

Token Burn:

The Bitswift token burn happened as promised as a result there are now less Bitswift tokens available in the supply pool. As part of the development process, the Bitswift dev team eliminated (burned) 176727.2540738 Bitswift tokens from circulation on 04-Dec-2017 22:22:48. The tokens were deleted using the delete asset option within the Nxt platform. The transaction ID on the Nxt blockchain related to the token burn is 16081451041357660464.

Business is busy:

We have some very exciting new things manifesting on the business front but at this point it might be a little premature to announce them here. As things come together and plans are set in stone we will of course make all formal announcements here :bitswift.press

Thank you all for your time,

=Bitswift

PS

Bitswift going to crush it in 2018!
