Everybody is sharing. Who is reading?

“Nobody is on their own. Everyone owes everyone.” 2016 AD

Does it ever concern or bother you? I acknowledge that the number of listeners and readers are decreasing exponentially as everybody is busy sharing but is anyone reading it? I would better gamble being one of the least risk takers who accumulates knowledge subscribing the important shared things rather representing it in the differently-same manner.

Everybody is sharing. Few are reading. Very few will be implementing. Least in the list will execute it. Yes, we are talking about the subset of ‘Digital Marketing’-The Giant Monster which is popularly known as ‘Content Marketing’. Are you in the list of ‘Least’ or in the least of long ‘List’ of everybody others? Both ways, you are in loss. Former will be considered as a feeble prey while second will be conceived as an ordinary predator. Why so?

Can you imagine how speedily is “Content Marketing” spreading ?

Do you know how many words are thought, written, pinned, and posted digitally (Not to mention the traditional writing)? Among this, a group of articles will become viral, few will be just seen, fewer articles will be read and shared volitionally (unless told by your boss, friends and colleagues). Again, what is going on with all this bluntly and haphazard sharing and ‘Striving to Stand Out’?

Please, don’t type ‘How to make your article stand out in the crowd?’ in Google.

The Search Engine is trying hard to put the best article in Top 10 (By Default, there will be BusinessInsider, HuffPo, Forbes, Fortune, Inc and few others Virtual-Mountains). Thanks to these high authority blogs who inspires other writers to spin a whole newly-same article from it that would make an attempt to compete to the earlier version.

Word-weaver make an arduous effort in publishing super duper post of (X-Y) words

X= Total Unique Lines already used in Digital Media

Y=Extraordinary sentences utilized in the same

The Product will be Z. Just as the last alphabet, it would probably be the concluding result.

Unfortunately and technically, there is no calculation or permutation or iteration which can unveil the number of unique sentences that are already written and that can be written from now. Because today we see “Top 12 ways to write a viral blogpost” as “ Dozen Unbelievable ways to make your post seen by millions”. This is sad; this is cliche.

“I am a fool to many and wise to few when I say this. I am literally waiting for the day to come when my article is viral naturally, in technical sense, organically. I will be shrewd to many and dupe to very few, then.”

is Trending. No kidding.

I am not saying that ‘Content Marketing (CM)’ is in danger but I am intuiting that it is not too far when an alternative would be the necessity. Of Course, the traditional writing is replaced by digital writing and so as the normal cars are now ‘Driver-less’ cars. It’s not new. Change is the necessity of life. Though it looks suspicious enough to doubt the CM but what do you know? Before 50 years, Jupiter was too far to be encountered by a telescope but today, the space shuttle landed into it.

I, too, will be the victim of the forthcoming recession in CM. So, chill guys and girls. But what if there is no existence of ‘Content Marketing’? People don’t have time to read nowadays; will they have 10 years from now? Website was an emblem of prestige before 15 years; mobile application is the same now and it will be substituted with an unspecified thing in the time to come.

This article is just a vulnerable possibility of what is wrong with Content Marketing today. That is, the ‘Content’ separately and the ‘Marketing’ in a singly basis. Billions of domains already registered and billions on the way. I think after 5 years the remaining domains will be ‘dfhd.com’, ‘sehfwehfdk.com’ , ‘pleasegooglerankmybusiness.com’ and something like that. Am I the only to marvel that this is going to very tough? Will it be unmanageable for Google to rank them? Because, the virtual-mountains are preeminent and there is a tinie tiny opening for a new blog or business to be seen virtually. Google is going region wise with the specific keywords typed as ‘CCD in US’, ‘CCD in Santa Clara’. That simply means that we have to limit our business to a limited area. That is not good. The Virtual-Mountains have now become the monarchs who rule and rule over the decades and there is no stopping them.

Seriously. You open Google Cards, E-news blogs, and E-magazines but all you notice is that ultimately all are telling/writing/speaking the same thing. Once again, the debate of ‘Who is Unique?’ gets along. Today, all the giant search engines removes the post of <50% unique content. Thank God. Forget about the Search Engine’s capabilities but what about the dependencies of all the businesses on SEO, Social Media Marketing and Content Marketing?

It is like, “As Scientists says there are still (X*10x) days for our planet to extinct, similarly, we may say there are still (X-Y)*10(x-y) days for CM to vanish.”

PS- This is an empirical formula. There is no proof.

“In this world of ‘Virtual Reality’, I wish I could begin ‘Real Virtuality’.”

This article doesn’t end here. It is merely the commencing of my ‘Everybody is sharing. Who is reading?’ headache.
