TJ — Thanks for sharing your perspective. I’m a DPT student at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff (although I grew up 20 min from Rutgers). I have also have a business degree and prior career in marketing and public relations. I couldn't agree more with all of your sentiments. I see a future where PT’s act in many cases as primary care providers, in close collaboration, or even in practice, with nutritionists, personal trainers, yoga teachers, massage therapists, and physicians. I believe there’s a way to make this model work in a way that is profitable, and more importantly, dramatically improves individual and population health. Your thoughts on disruption on inspiring and spot-on. I’m excited to see how our new generation of PT’s can reshape the landscape.
