Blackcoin Pool Final Farewell
Sadly the time has come where we must inevitably shutdown Blackcoin Pool. What an incredible experience it has been in the nearly two years since we first started Blackcoin Pool, from our humble beginnings to the blood, sweat, and tears poured into the Blackcoin Pool V2 and future releases, it would have never been possible without the dedication and support of the community.
The Blackcoin Pool staff has worked tirelessly to maintain the pool, we’ve suffered (and always resolved) numerous DDoS attacks, we’ve poured gallons of cups of coffee (espressos preferably) on many sleepless nights resolving exchange issues, forks, coin attacks and scams. We’ve even had to deal with our hosting provider having it’s fibre optic cable cut from a car crash! For the crypto community as a whole, we’ve often been the whistle-blowers to alert the exchanges to issues (and scams) with coins, we’ve survived the Redcoin PoSV fiasco, along with countless others. We’ve seen the rise and fall of hundreds of coins and kept the pool running through every issue we’ve ever encountered all while supporting and simultaneously mining hundreds of coins at once using an advanced optimization algorithm.
Just to put things into perspective, take this in for a moment. Every coin that’s ever been mine-able and on an exchange with stable liquidity we’ve mined, every coin that’s ever had an issue, ever switched from PoW to PoS, every coin that’s ever had a virus, backdoor, or other scam, we’ve analyzed, dealt with, and mined to maximum profitability. From our robust artificial intelligence system for liquidation altcoins, to our advanced optimization algorithm for mining altcoins.
Yes folks we’ve seen it all.
But alas, it seems that we’ve finally met our greatest challenge, our final boss, our ultimate end. Recent exchange issues and instabilities have made it impossible for us to continue reliably mining and liquidating altcoins, what used to take hours for us to liquidate, now can take days, due to the decline in the number of available altcoin exchanges and volume. The questionable legality surrounding the operation of a pool for customers in the US, in particular New York, due to the bitlicense has exacerbated the situation giving us no other choice than to shutdown Blackcoin Pool.
We want to thank the Blackcoin and crypto community as a whole! we would have never made it this far without the help and support of you. Thank you to everyone who helped contribute their hashing power to assist in testing Blackcoin Pool V2 to ensure a smooth and steady launch. Thank you for those who helped report and track bugs and other issues so they could be resolved. Thank you to the exchange operators who helped resolve issues and accommodate our advance artificial intelligence trading bot. The pool has been running the entire time very steady and with almost no downtime thanks to all of your dedication and support.
