Around and around we go lol.
I think this is a good place to try and solidfy my point.
Webber, Barkley, etc. have all been competitors.
and they all have valid opinions.
They all have opinions. The validity of these opinions are based on the subject matter and their knowledge of it.
For instance, Charles can have an opinion about what constitutes a champion, but it’s only opinion because he doesn’t know. Tracy McGrady, one of the greatest natural athletes this sport has ever seen, has tons of stuff to say about KD’s move. But, nobody listens to it, because his opinions aren’t based on any type of understanding of championship basketball. If you notice, there are very few champions who have any problems with what KD did, and if they do, they keep to themselves, because they understand the levels of decisions that must be made to be a champion.
At the end of the day, none of this matters. You’re gonna think what you wanna think and that’s your right. But KD’s gonna do what he thinks is best for his career, and that’s his right. I, for one, ain’t gonna knock a guy for doing what he’s gotta do to win.
Plus, I’m a Knicks fan, so “competitive balance” has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that my squad will be unsuccessful next year.
