Athleticism

Q.A.B. 8.00 He has a first quick step that allows him to make contact with the defender and keep his balance.
Flexibility 7.50 He does a nice job at keeping his hips bent so he can drive the defender to clear a lane for the runner.
C.O.D. 7.50 He is light on his feet so he can pull on blocks or move his body to drive pass rushers up the field.
Explosion 8.00 His initial burst allows him to put himself into position to win the battles versus defensive lineman.
Versatility 8.50 He has the ability to play guard and center at the next level. Has starting experience at both spots.

Run Blocking

In-Line 8.00 He does a nice job at locking on his assignment and sealing the lane for the runner.
Movement off L.O.S. 8.00 His initial burst allows him to get leverage versus lineman to push them of the L.O.S.
Reach Block 7.50 He uses his quick movement to get outside the defender to gain leverage to have his way with DL.
Pull & Block Outside 8.50 He is very fast at pulling to the outside to help clear a path for the runner. He looks for contact.
Adjust In Space 7.00 He keeps looking for work but can outrun his body at time to make a block in open space.
Use of Hands 8.50 Once he gets his hands locked on the defender he will win the battle and drive them where he wants.

Pass Blocking

Quick Set 8.50 Once he snaps the ball he will get himself in position to take on his assignment. Very fast at this.
Protect Corner 8.00 He handles his assignments and a will hold his own against defensive lineman and blitzers.
Footwork/Redirect & Slide 7.50 He will keep his feet ready to slide with defenders so he can keep the pocket protected for the QB.
Anchor/Reset Ability 8.00 He will hold his own versus strong lineman. He rarely gets shoved back and will anchor down.
Handle Games/Stunts 7.50 He does a nice job at picking up blitzers and stunts, can occasionally get surprised by a late blitzer.
Hands/Punch 8.00 He will punch and push under the defender so he can win the battle early. He is very strong at this.

Competitiveness

Toughness 8.00 He is very tough and is always looking for a defender he can lay the wood too. He wants to block.
Consistency/Motor 8.00 Like I mentioned, he wants to work, sometimes this can take himself out of a block, needs control.
Production 8.00 He will constantly find ways to get a block. He does a great job at getting to the second level.

Intelligence

Instincts 7.50 Showed that he has the ability to sense blitzers to get the block, can struggle with delayed blitzes.
Learn/Retain 8.00 He shows on tape that he preps for defenses so he knows what they are going to bring at him.
Teamwork 8.00 He is a worker and wants to do his best to give his team an edge every play. Constant worker.

Strengths

He is a solid offensive line prospect. There isn’t really nothing that jumps out that he does wrong. He has a quick burst after the snap and puts himself in position to win battles. He does a great job at sealing lanes for runners to go through. He can pull and will constantly look for someone to block. He gets to the second level to help clear a path for the runner.

Weaknesses

He can be impatient at times and will outrun his body at times. If he is trying to get to a defender in open space, he will trip over himself because he will try to lunge at them. He needs to find patience at this so doesn’t leave runners out to dry. If he does lose the initial battle quicker lineman can get by him. He also needs to work on picking up delayed blitzes as well.

Big Picture

Price has the ability to come in and be a day one starter for a team that needs a center. He does have the ability to play guard if needed, but I believe he is better suited for the center position. He does everything right and wants to find someone to block at all times. He is light on his feet and can be depended on pull blocks to help clear lanes for the runner, he will just need to develop patience as he can outrun his body and trip over himself in open space at times. He is excellent at getting to his assignment and sealing lanes for the runner to go through. I believe he has the ability to develop into one of the better centers in the league down the road and can find himself on a team for years to come. He should get drafted in the first round and come in help right away in the inside part of the line. I would compare him to Alex Mack, and should have a long career at the next level.
