Airdrop V1.0 is live! Here’s what you need to know
Finally, we’re here to bring you Airdrop V1.0 and staking for DICE holders! This article tells you how everything works. But first things first: Now that the BlockGames Player Network has landed, here’s the quick and easy way to begin:

Airdrop points — what are they and how do they work?
Weekly rounds
Up until the launch of the $BLOCK token, DICE owners can accumulate Airdrop points in weekly rounds in two ways:
- Engagement on the Player Network to earn Pace points.
- Owning and staking DICE NFTs for Airdrop points.
- Even more point-making opportunities (in addition to Pace and Staking points) as we develop and scale the app
Social points are calculated for the last 7 days, every Monday. To get your Airdrop points through staking all you have to do is connect your wallet for automatic DICE multiplier activation. From that moment, all points generated in each weekly round will be added to your total points before the next weekly cycle begins.
Other ways to earn points and increase your $BLOCK allocation
Social Points
Link your X account on the BlockGames App. Remember to tag $BLOCK or @GetBlockGames in all of your Tweets. Whenever you do this, you accumulate Social Points that appear in the Airdrops tab on your app, each week.
Engagement
Get PACE points (see further down) for your engagement. This includes playing games, soft-staking your DICE NFT, inviting friends, participating in contests, and more. By staying active, you’ll be rewarded with points that get added to your account each week!
Extra
Log in and complete daily missions across social channels and our partner platforms to help spread the word about BlockGames, and get rewarded.
Note: All of your accumulated points will be converted into a $BLOCK Airdrop when the token launches in 2024. The more points you’ve accumulated, the bigger your $BLOCK Airdrop will be.
Pace points explained
As you explore and engage with the Player Network, you earn Pace points. These accrue in your wallet and contribute to your final Airdrop point total. Some of the ways to earn Pace Points include:
- Playing games and completing challenges
- Participating in contests
- Inviting friends to join BlockGames (coming soon)
- Connecting your wallets and socials
Any points you gain will be visible in the section of the app shown in the screenshot.
How to stake your DICE NFT
Log into the BlockGames App, open your Vault, and select the ‘Airdrop tab’. Here you’ll see your Airdrop points. To begin staking, simply connect your wallet. Wallet connection alone will ensure the app immediately sees what’s in your wallet and updates your DICE multiplier.
If you have more than one DICE NFT, more power to you — literally. For each unlisted in your wallet, you’ll get 1000 Airdrop points per week! But if you sell, transfer, or list your DICE in a weekly cycle, you will forfeit your Airdrop points and multiplier capability for that week.
How multipliers work
The multiplier mechanism is simple. At the end of every weekly cycle, the highest activated DICE multiplier you have and your Early Adopter multiplier (2X) are added together. Then the number of Airdrop and Pace points accumulated is multiplied by the sum of all applicable multipliers. So, if you have a 3X DICE and an Early Adopter multiplier, your Airdrop points will be multiplied by a factor of 5. Any future multipliers we create will be added in the same way.
Here’s a breakdown of the different existing, multiplier types:
Dice Multiplier
Dice multipliers can be between 3X and 10X. For newly bought or activated DICE the multiplier effect will kick in at the beginning of the next weekly round — as long as it stays unlisted. Worth noting is there’s no need to revoke permissions on OpenSea.
Early adopter multiplier
For MVP users who joined BlockGames through early access passes and other activations and don’t have a DICE, they will automatically receive a 2X Early Adopter multiplier that will remain active up until the public launch of the Network. Note: DICE owners also benefit from this 2X multiplier in addition to their DICE multiplier.

What if I don’t have a DICE NFT?
Head to OpenSea and purchase one. Remember to check the multiplier associated with the DICE NFT you buy as this will affect the amount of Airdrop points you can accrue when you soft stake. Newly bought DICE will, once activated, begin accruing rewards — as long as the NFT remains in the same wallet and isn’t listed, transferred or sold.
A useful example
To help you understand in real terms how the process works, here’s a helpful example:
Let’s say a user has two DICE in their wallet, one with a 3X multiplier and the other with a 10X multiplier. At the end of the week, they will be rewarded with 2000 staking points (1000 for each held DICE). They will also be rewarded for engagement — what we call Pace points. Let’s also say the player installs some games, plays them, reaches a few milestones, and gains 1000 Pace points in a week. The full amount of accumulated points (3000) is then multiplied by only the highest DICE multiplier they hold in their wallet. In this case, 10X plus their Early Adopter Bonus of 2X, making a total multiplier of 12X. So…they’ll receive 3000 X 12 weekly points added to their total points as long as their DICE remains unlisted, bringing the total in this example to 36,000 points. If, in the following week, the user doesn’t list or sell their DICE NFT — and, again, receives 1000 Pace points for their engagement — the calculations remain the same.
Remember the rules
If you transfer or sell your DICE in the middle of a staking period, you won’t get any points. You must keep the NFT in the wallet so that its associated address is recognized by the BlockGames App. You must ensure that it is unlisted — as if not for sale on an NFT marketplace.
