Dear community,

As all of you probably know very well the crypto and ICO market has been extremely difficult for several months even for quality ICOs like ours based on a solid business case. However, we still very much believe in our project, and I can ensure you that we are fighting harder and more determined than ever to achieve our goals and develop the Global Shared Container Platform as planned and promised.

So far, we have raised around USD 2.5 million, and even though this is far from our original hard cap, this amount of money has made it possible to both start developing our platform and to expand our organisation.

Regarding the platform development, significant progress has been made on the design of the first module of GSCP which is the Blockchain Container Register.

On the organisational front, Blockshipping has hired Daniel Gerhardt as Blockchain Business Architect. Daniel’s role will revolve around Blockchain Business architecture i.e. how to leverage blockchain technology in actual GSCP use cases and products.

Furthermore, Blockshipping has just hired Thomas Forslund as CFO. Thomas’ primary focus for the next three months will be to secure traditional venture capital financing as a supplement to the ICO funding.

On the note of venture funding, I am happy to tell you that we currently have several dialogues with VCs in the Nordic Region and the Middle East who have shown serious interest in acquiring equity in Blockshipping.

Despite the currently difficult ICO market, we believe that the situation will change for the better during Q4 and because of that, we have decided to extend the ICO once again. I know that some of you will disagree with this decision, but I believe it is the right thing to do in the present situation. Blockshipping is — as some of you know — the first ICO to be launched on BRD’s (formerly Bread Wallet) new Secure Checkout platform, and both BRD and Blockshipping expect that this new platform will be able to generate a substantial additional sale of Blockshipping’s CCC tokens during the coming one or two months.

Finally, I am happy to tell you that Blockshipping’s CCC tokens will be listed on — at least — two decentralised exchanges. We expect final approvals from these exchanges within the next week or so, and look forward to sharing their names with you.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us, if you have any questions regarding anything concerning Blockshipping or Blockshipping’s ICO.

As I have said earlier, we are extremely happy for your support, and despite the tough market, we are determined to fulfil our mission for the benefit of all of us.

All the best,

Peter Ludvigsen, CEO & Founder of Blockshipping
