HIGH PROTEIN HEALTHY SALAD IN A JAR

This quick and easy High Protein Salad recipe is not only delicious, but is packed with essential nutrients! Layers of colorful lettuce, veggies and more go into this High Protein Healthy Salad!

You can easily cut and prepare all ingredients for this super healthy salad ahead of time, or quickly do it as you go! Meal prepping is nice to take to work on the weekdays, but sometimes it’s nice to cook everything from scratch on the weekend!

You can certainly put whatever ingredients you like in this High Protein Healthy Salad mix. I used Avocado, Garbanzo Beans, Cherry Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Chicken and Feta Cheese and sometimes a sunny side up egg (Optional). I top my salad with a healthy Vinaigrette sauce!

For the colorful veggie mix in the center, I grill for about 5–10 minutes in Olive Oil. I cut the Cherry Tomatoes in half, dice the Mushrooms and throw the Garbanzo beans in for about 2 minutes until hot.

I like some of my veggies to be hot, so my Feta Cheese melts all over and mixes well with the Vinaigrette Dressing.

Ingredients
- • Mixed Greens (Lettuce)
- • Chicken (Grilled or Baked)
- • Mushrooms (Grilled or Raw)
- • Cherry Tomatoes (Grilled or Raw)
- • Garbanzo Beans (Canned)
- • Feta Cheese (Crumbled)
- • Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing (Store bought or Make Your Own)
- • Sunny Side Up Egg (Extra Protein — Optional)
Instructions
- 1. Cook Chicken
- 2. Prep Veggies
- 3. Toss Veggies (Mushrooms, Tomatoes) into Chicken
- 4. Drain Beans
- 5. Cook Egg (Optional)
- 6. Serve Hot or Chill
