Detected FUD in a “FUD-buster” post.
Byteball does scale “unlimited”, if not better than IOTA, its transaction fees are below cents, to reach $1usd the price of 1gb would have to be $700 trillion USD.
The critique on “PoW is the fee”, is not about mining farms, the PoW is energy expended — which not all IoT devices can afford — which is the fee, no matter how small.
According to main developer of IOTA, without the Coordinator it is worth exactly 0 (zero) USD. Remove the coordinator, until then it is unproven claims. IOTA is distributed, centralized technology.
The security issues with IOTA, that PoW does not secure the network, is strangely missing from the article.
