The Suns only have one (known) dollar bill, Booker, and he’s not on the table. Kyrie would be the second. From Phoenix’s perspective, it’s a no brainer. Bledsoe, a pick, whatever, you don’t turn down an opportunity to get dollar bills for quarters.

That said, because it is such a no brainer is how you know that the Suns will completely screw this up. Robert Sarver is the worst owner the Suns have ever had. He’s probably the worst owner Phoenix has ever had, and Phoenix was stuck with Bill Bidwell running the Cardinals for decades.

Sarver has taken the only pro sports team that the city of Phoenix has ever truly loved (save for a short flirtation with the Diamondbacks in 2001) and destroyed it. The Suns used to matter; they used to be important. Sarver sees the Suns as a cash machine and doesn’t give two craps about wins and losses. He will no doubt screw this up. The Suns need Kyrie, but they need a new owner more.
