Blab was what I called the true manifestation of social media.

Michael, your assessment is spot-on. They got the platform part right. It was easy to use and the communities sprung up naturally. Besides some drop-off issues, expected with a new product, it was amazing.

However, the manner in which they suddenly pulled the plug on Blab was confirmative of a management who, since the beginning of 2016, had become indifferent to the communities they helped create.

Moreover, their openly expressed disdain for content creators was astonishing in both its contemptuousness and improvidence.

If this same group of principles creates another social media site then I would advise all the ex-Blabbers to approach it cautiously. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
