Hello, welcome to the first installment of Liam Hockey Props as an article. Yesterday didn’t happen. We’re +10.88 units on the season and I have four picks for y’all so let’s get right into it.

Nathan MacKinnon Goal +150

Nathan MacKinnon 2 Goals +700

Our first two plays are in Colorado as Nathan MacKinnon and the Avalanche take on the Sharks of San Jose. The Avalanche had a rather disappointing trip to Southern California as they didn’t score much and split games with the Kings and Ducks. Nathan scored one goal in these four games, he sniped one home against LA. He’s got two goals in six games this season and well, tonight is his night. There was a complete lack of puck luck for this team in So Cal and I’m expecting a big night for Colorado. MacKinnon is going to be determined to get his team back to playing Avalanche Hockey. In net for SJ is Martin Jones who has allowed 3.00 goals per game in four contests. He gave up five in one game to Arizona and he’s just not the good goalie he has been in the past. MacKinnon is arguably the best skater on the planet, his lethal combo of power and speed is going to be huge in tonight’s game against a poor Sharks defense with a bad goalie. I fully expect MacKinnon to score tonight, I’ll guarantee that goal and make MacKinnon goal a 2 unit play. We’ll sprinkle some $ on Nathan to score twice. I wouldn’t want to fade Nathan MacKinnon tonight.

Matt Duchene Goal +300

The Predators host the Blackhawks tonight and you know what that means. There will be plenty of scoring opportunities for the Predators against a horrific Blackhawks defense. Matt Duchene is our guy in this game, he’s been held scoreless in five games this season as he’s attempted 12 shots on goal. I love Malcolm Subban and wish him plenty of success but he’s not a good goalie and Duchene is going to be ecstatic to be facing him tonight. I’m feeling good about Matt Duchene putting the frozen biscuit in the net tonight. This picture below is Duchene’s shot map, he’s had some quality looks.

Andrew Mangiapane Goal +350

My feel play of the night is Andrew Mangiapane. The Flames are a really fun team to watch and Mangiapane he’ll be playing on their top line with Elias Lindholm and Matthew Tkachuk. This line has been deadly for the Flames as they’ve generated an expected goals rate of 80% in just two games. Despite that fact, they haven’t scored yet and Mangiapane hasn’t even scored this season. The line has produced a corsi of 76.2% which is by far the best on the team, 75% of their shots have gone unblocked as well. A lot of the other Flames players have seen success this season, Andrew has not. However… my gut is telling me it’s Andrew Mangiapane’s night, I trust my gut.

Best of luck to all of you tailing these bets. Just to recap we’ve got…
