I heard a few Soundgarden songs and never wanted to explore more. But something he said in an interview has resonated for me. Paraphrasing, he said: “Most people think of a small dinner party with friends as relaxing. I find it terrifying. I feel like I have to be witty or sound intelligent or tell a good story. It’s the opposite of relaxing.’ Though I don’t know his music or lyrics, might “feeling Minnesota” be the opposite of your interpretation? And a tribute to the second greatest composer in music history, Paul Westerberg.
