Project ORB update(Jan 20th, 2017)
We deliver to you the latest update on project ORB. It has been relatively quiet for the past two weeks but now we are getting ready to release more exciting news and have been making great progress in the background.
Burning of Season 1 FoW cards
As announced previously, we have started burning Season 1 FoW cards before the start of the coming season 2.(All of the burning process should be complete within a couple of days) Also, accommodating this change, the FoW ORB supply on Book of Orbs take account of the burned amounts now.
Depending on other circumstances, we may decide to burn even more Season 1 cards along the way. We will let the users know in advance if there is going to be further burning.
SoG compatible FoW cards details
5 of the Season 1 FoW ORBs will be compatible with SoG.
The new illustrations will be assigned to those ORBs in the SoG environment on BoO instead of using the FoW illustrations directly. The details will be announced by the SoG team very soon.
Project ORB will continue to encourage this type of cross game collaboration in the future as this open and cross capacity highlights some of the most unique and powerful characteristics of ORBs(game items on the blockchain)
Book of Orbs update coming
A major update to Book of Orbs is coming soon (likely released sometime next week for iOS and Android) This update will include a number of UI improvements and useful feature additions. BoO will become even more fun and useful for our current user base at the same time lowering the entry barrier for new users. We are also going to make the batch drawing feature available to the public in the coming days.
WillPowerSytem(WPS) and Book of Orbs integration
The details of Will Power System and Book of Orbs integration(WILLCOIN conversion) has been discussed internally and is currently being finalized. The release date has been delayed from the original schedule but we are planning to make a further announcement next week. Meanwhile, as stated previously, Season 1 FoW cards will be harder to acquire after the Season 2 begins. We recommend drawing and trading for Season 1 cards when you have a chance (take advantage of the batch drawing feature too!)
We are expecting to release even more important news and updates next week, so stay tuned!
