7 ways to increase productivity, stay positive and work through challenges.

  1. Learn from experience and adapt — don’t keep repeating the same mistakes. If you’re not getting interviews analyse why that is. Are you applying to the right type of positions? Is there something in your CV that can be changed? If you get interviews but no offers — ask for feedback!
  2. Stay positive. If it’s too easy — it will be boring. Embrace the challenge and enjoy the journey.
  3. Identify small steps you need to complete that will take you closer to your goal. Take action and celebrate each small achievement.
  4. Set a daily limit on social media time to stay focused –social media is useful for a number of reasons but can be distracting.
  5. Exercise — get fresh air and natural light. It can really make a difference to your energy levels and overall mood. Trying to get things done in a bad mood is twice as hard.
  6. Switch off — especially leading up to bed time.
  7. Setbacks can be frustrating. However, learn to harness this energy and spin it into something positive like for example building more motivational momentum.
