Who’s The Boss?
Megan Reynolds

I served as interim department manager at a former employer while my boss was on maternity leave. I had forgotten about it, but this brought much of that back and describes it perfectly.

“Both my duties and my salary are the same.” … “Am I allowed to make any changes?”

Probably not. It wasn’t really worth it in the end for me: more stress and responsibility for no payoff whatsoever.
