It’s true, now that I think about it, that the way we play this game is eerily similar to how we “play” our real lives.

• I’m super worried about doing everything “right” so I do a little of everything and feel incredibly overwhelmed, and at times, paralyzed
• I’m anxious about money so I’m constantly trying to make as much as possible while spending as little as possible
• I’m terrible at emotional labor in both, but I’m slightly less mercenary about my real-life relationships (I don’t just stuff ’em full of their favorite gifts)
