Unless you’ve been living under a rock over the last decade, you have probably heard of this little app called Instagram. Nobody uses Instagram because of the ground-breaking way that the programming languages Python or React are used in the app. However, under the hood of Instagram, several computer-programming languages work seamlessly to offer you the Instagram experience.

Similarly, blockchain technology is reaching a major milestone as the tech is starting to become seamlessly integrated under the hood of other apps to enhance the end-user experience.

Blockchain’s “AOL Moment” is Coming

This is evident in the examples of brands below that are starting to integrate blockchain into their stacks — Disney, Facebook, Coca-Cola, and many others. There is a large emphasis on the experience that is being enhanced for the end user — the speed, ownership, and lower cost that blockchain technology offers.

In other words, we go to Instagram for reasons like connecting with friends through pictures and videos, or to market a business — not to utilize a breakthrough use case of Python and React.
