On today’s episode, our guest is a Legit Oh Geez member from the house of Levx DAO. Cookien1te also known as Youngfart is a gamer, works on real estate and short term rentals; and is also a bonafide member of the Levx DAO community having the ‘Legit Oh Geez’ badge to his name.

Is it right to spell your display name as ‘Cookienite’?
cookien1te:
Sure, that’s fine
BoyCope:
Oh, great. I’d love to know the meaning. Clearly, it’s an alias or a pseudonym.
What’s the origin of your display name?
cookien1te:
It’s a name I’ve always used for my gaming alias. I copied it from my friend who combined a food with another cool word, his name was “warcupcake”, another friend is “bloodbrownie” so I chose Cookien1te
BoyCope:
Haha. That’s crazily creative. I’ll definitely try it out.
So, before we head on to the D-Questions of the day. What do you do for a living? Both inside the crypto space and out?
cookien1te:
At the moment I’m working with my family on real estate and short term rentals (Airbnb). I’m trying to find other sources of income to fuel my crypto degen tendencies and I’m looking into watch trading at the moment.
BoyCope:
Oh, amazing. Once again, it’s really great having you on here. Really.
To our first question of the day; Question 1: When did you get into the crypto space?
cookien1te:
I think it was around December of 2020
BoyCope:
Wow.
Was it difficult when you started out?
cookien1te:
I had a helpful group of crypto friends that we ventured in the cryptospace together. So it wasn’t so difficult but more scary. Having not much knowledge in crypto, trying to pick out the best coins for the best returns, not knowing which projects are legit. But it’s an adventure and an experience that are shared with friends. Some loses some wins, but it’s good memories and knowledge to be able to outperform the next bullrun.
BoyCope:
Great. Losing money with friends? Hehe. Makes everything balanced.
On Question 2: I’d ask; Presently, at the moment, do you talk to friends/family about crypto?
cookien1te:
Friends of course, but it’s like the twitter crypto space. When it’s the bear market everything kinda slows down, not so many texts, people waiting for prices to pump, generally quite quiet as opposed to the bull market where degen friends are just spamming the inbox of coins, projects, nfts, rugs and what not.
For family, not so much. Especially in the bear market when everybody is just focusing on building and there’s not so much hype and price pumps to be talking about.
BoyCope:
Totally accurate.
Question 3: It’s evident you’re an Oh Geez member in the Levx DAO community. How did you come about the DAO? Most especially, how did you find the Dictator?
cookien1te:
One of my friends really like the Sushiswap project and community. He was following the project for a while and noticed that one of the developers created his own DAO and discord group and luckily he shared the alpha with us. So a few members of our friends got in the group quick enough to get the OG role. And I’ve stuck around ever since.
BoyCope:
Wow. That’s exciting. Can you remember what the worth of the $Levx was at the time?
cookien1te:
I have no idea, there wasn’t even a $LEVX coin at that time. It was $Oh-Geez coin
but the hype was real then plus we were in a bull market, the price started off at like 3000$? I remember 1 guy taking profit and it crashed the price to around 900$ cause the liquidity was so low LOL
BoyCope:
Whoosh! That must have been scary. To see it fall so deep.
Question 4: What do you think can be done in the Levx server presently, to match the hype it had back then when the server was very active with noises all over the channels?
cookien1te:
Hype can only go so far, I trust in LevX to develop a great product and then hype can bring it to the masses and we can all go to the moon
There was lots of airdrops and activities too so that was real hype
Especially LevX airdropping people a bunch of random stuff haha
BoyCope:
Haha. I want to believe that was part of what raised the hype. I mean, people love free stuffs. It only attracts them like iron to magnet.
Question 5: What do you think is the best course of action for any trader or degen in this bearish period?
cookien1te:
Slowly DCA-ing in definitely. That’s the biggest lesson I learned from the last cycle. DCA in and DCA out. Use your brain and don’t get greedy. Take profit always good.
BoyCope:
Words of wisdom. I love this.
Question 6: People usually say, Web3 frens are far greater than IRL frens. Do you believe in this saying?
cookien1te:
Both are great, Web3 friends are good when they’re in the same community you’re supporting. You get to know people, exchange ideas, share interests, interact and hopefully profit together. But at the same time IRL friends are important as well. They’re the ones you actually trust, actually know them in person and they can help you in bad times.
So I guess IRL friends are more important. Web3 friends are just acquaintances you meet on the web unless you can actually convert them into IRL friends
BoyCope:
First time I’m getting a vivid explanation on this.. It’s perfect.
Question 7: what are you doing if you’re not on Discord/the crypto space? Hobbies, especially.
cookien1te:
Working out, researching watch trading, I have a blind cat he’s awesome, taking care of family, reading books, trying to be better generally. I like sports as well, wake boarding, badminton, but lately haven’t done any sports. Been quite a zombie in my house.
BoyCope:
Whoah! A blind cat. How’s taking care of him like? Wouldn’t that be more stressful compared to normal cats?
cookien1te:
He’s funny, falls off steps, runs into things, follows the sound of your footstep, but eventually he gets used to the house and knows where things are. And not stressful at all. He’s just like any other cat just blind.
But he produces a lot of eye gunk though every time he wakes up, so it’s a little more tedious though to clean his eyes everyday

That’s extraordinary. Hehe. Not many animals can handle themselves with blindness. He got a name?

we call him Blind LOLOLOL

To Question 8: aside Levx DAO, is there any other DAO or project you’re bullish on?.
cookien1te:
My pfp is Ragnarok, I got very lucky on that project and minted a quite rare character. So I’m a little bullish on that project and more hoping that it goes well and pumps AF. But they’re trying to build a MMORPG in Web3 similar to WoW, fingers crossed that the team can deliver something sustainable before they run out of money. I also like the idle game 9chronicles a lot and enjoy playing that game, it’s an idle game so you only click a few times per day so you don’t have to invest a ton of time into it. They’re progressing well and I can see myself enjoying the game throughout the future. I went a little too heavy on Axie and jesus look at the SLP graph while Jihoz is dancing with axie girls FFS. And of course I believe in the dictator so part of my bullishness (and hope) lies in LevX.
Would also like to plug 75hard program and Andy Frisella. If you want to improve your life listen to that shit.
BoyCope:
Definitely going to look into Ragnarok. All in all, our hope lies in Levx.
To the 9th Question — Question 9: Do you think it’s advisable for one to find love or fall in love on Discord?
cookien1te:
Probably Hell no or highly not recommended xD (however if you do props to you), probably going to fall in the hands of scammers or cat-fishing. Reminds me of Kitboga’s videos on youtube about indian scammers emotionally attaching themselves to you to try to get money from you. But then again, if you actually do find true love on discord and it leads to a legitimate relationship, then that’s fricken awesome.
BoyCope:
Haha. Lmaao. The scammer line got me laughing out loud. Yeah, caution is highly required in cases like this.
Last question for today; Question 10: what is your advice to those starting crypto for the first time? Especially with little capital close to 0.
cookien1te:
Slowly learn the fundamentals. DCA very good, take profits very good. Don’t worry about feeling like you’ve lost the opportunity to make money, that’s just greed and that’s going to result in losing money. There’s always an opportunity to make money in crypto, and making money is definitely better than losing money. Don’t go all in, that’s just stupid. Put a little in, you’re going to lose money so invest what you can lose and use that experience to win next time. Don’t buy the top, wait for the bear market to settle in (like now) and start slowly DCA-ing in. Control your emotions, especially greed and FOMO. And just have fun and enjoy the journey. Stick through it long enough, learn the ropes, don’t repeat the same mistakes and eventually you’re going to be a good investor.
