This is so good and thought provoking Jason. Thank you.

I am convinced that part of having a great marriage is simply knowing which societal messages need to be ignored. Like the one that says marriage is all about getting your needs met. Many think this way about sex too. These cultural messages come from people that don’t understand marriage, it’s purpose, or it’s real benefits.

The true joy in marriage is in learning to serve and love better than you ever thought you could. And to look back on your journey and realize that you have helped each other to be better than you ever thought possible!

Tami and I reached 32 years of marriage this year. What an honor it has been!
