Rankings aside, Seton Hall is one of the best law schools in the country, plain and simple.

Whether a law school is excellent or poor is largely based on two important and defining metrics: employment outcomes and bar passage rates.

(1) Bar Passage Rates. Seton Hall Law School had an astonishing 90% passed the bar on the first attempt in 2015. To compare that with an Ivy League school, Cornell’s law school had a 93% bar pass rate on first attempts in 2016, and Yale had 96% pass in a recent year. Therefore, Seton Hall is clearly running with the top of the pack in the bar pass rate category.

(2) Job Outcomes. In 2015, a whopping 95% were gainfully employed within less than a year from graduation. This number speaks volumes. The purpose of going to law school, and for many, taking out thousands of dollars in student debt, is to obtain a job in the legal industry.

Above The Law. One of the most read legal blogs in the country ranked Seton Hall in the top 25 of all law schools for 2017.

College Gazette. According to the College Gazette, Seton Hall Law School is one of the “10 Incredible Law Schools Outside of the Ivy League” .
