Things are great if you see them that way.
☑How to appreciate your past
If I were myself headed then when I was much younger,
I’d show more gratitude and less ill matured infancy,
The times I lived is worth millions,
Like pricelessness my life a fulfilling commodity,
As I grew up thinking things were tough sometimes,
I can confirm, affirm and undoubtedly be,
In love with this life of mine,
With a past that’s perfect over neglecting what happened to me,
Made my own description of what impeccable means,
Because I lived it and breathed it,
And I've accepted lovingly that past I've seen,
It’s a day to day life that delivered me,
My own description of a great life,
Truly a beautiful reality.
This time I decided to catch you off guard with the poem first. I thought of this piece during the drive to a normal day at work, thinking of something incredible. How grateful I am to my entire family and my parents most importantly. For giving me an extraordinary life that my older self adores, because I always try to master focusing on being positive and accepting the best of what happens to us always. This way I appreciate my past so much for the memories I have, good or bad. As I've accepted the bad times weren't even that bad when I was younger that makes them presently the same. That point of view makes me love my past especially. You’ll notice a lot of my poems are often about a happy positive outlook for all sorts of subjects.
My amazing parents taught me my point of view on life, I am so grateful for them entirely and then some.
As I learn better time management I’ll get my tunes in here too soon! But for now I still want you to get a taste of these hopeful feelings through music too !! ☺
