The more I reflect, the more this game sounds like one big Tamagotchi.

Judging by my success on that front, I’m pretty sure the denizens of Stardew Valley would put me in a pillory and throw painstakingly-cultivated vegetables at my head in retribution for my neglected garden plot (dragging down property values around the Valley) and my surly disposition (how much social capital does committed introversion get me?).
