John, yes. You see it, I saw it in a gigantic urban high school with a large population of Hispanics and in a tiny rural school with almost no minorities. In both cases, “troublemakers” are overwhelmingly male and come from low-income families. Most of the girls were too. There’s much to be said about the poverty-prison via school pipeline. Thanks for this.
