Vikash Singh I am sorry if my previous comment looks unfriendly. But I think the message delivered in both the title and the article is ‘regex is slow’ rather than ‘regex with backtracking is slow’, and it is better to make it clear.

BTW, why doesn’t ‘\b’ suits the requirement of word boundary? It is supported in Rust.
