Sorry, Harry, but I couldn’t possibly disagree more strongly. One needn’t actually get “ up close and personal to the beast” in order to know that the beast is dangerous, bites and may just kill you. Hence, the beast is best left alone. Cruz is dangerous. Cruz as president is beyond frightening, and since I, like your father, am also a Baby Boomer, I remember only too well how horrible a “house divided against itself” can be, be it divided by race, religion, gender, ethnicity or “war fever” — per never-put-on-a-uniform Senator Ted “Carpet Bomb” Cruz. This cretin would further exacerbate an already far-too-divided nation. Basic research — and there is an ABUNDANCE available online, including Cruz’s own website — SHOULD have told your father “all he needed to know.” Appearing at the rally begot a conclusion that your dad KNEW, with certainty, would come to pass: an “interpretation” of advocacy. As a father to two sons (one a 35-year-old Yale alum and the other a seventeen-year-old senior in high school headed to UPenn in the fall), I admire your support for your father. Stepping into the breach, you invited counterpoint. Good luck with your own ambitions. Brian PC
