Well, there is no denying that volksgemeinschaft is a German word, that’s true. It’s also impossible to deny its Nazi freight at this point. (Kind of like when people point out swastikas were East Asian symbols of good fortune, etc.) Also Haider’s feelings on the Nazis (which were, let’s say, not as negative as they should have been) are well known.
I’m not sure why you’re defending his rhetorical rights here. Seems like there are more worthwhile causes, but up to you…
