The Danny short was one of the first designs created by us in the summer of 2013. We wanted a basic pair of jersey shorts with a great fit made for relaxing, working out, or running errands. This short was created to represent our brand’s lifestyle mantra:

lounge . lift . play

We met Daniel in 2008 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. When we first started Brian + Silke, we knew we needed someone with the perfect physique to show off the fit of our shorts. Daniel was the first to come to mind due to his commitment to physical fitness. Daniel serves in the Air National Guard in Birmingham, Alabama. His hobbies include: motorcycle racing, working out, traveling, eating healthy, and running with his dog Harper. We love meeting up with Daniel downtown. He usually has us trying high gravity beers and listening to his many stories.
