We design & build bespoke web solutions. We’re looking for that exceptional employee #1, our first non-founder employee. You’ll have significant influence in driving our technical choices over the coming years, working with Kelvin, our tech lead, who’s based in Cheltenham.

What we're looking for in you

You’re happy to work independently and you’re persistent — not resting until the task or feature is complete. You’re self-directed & have conviction in the choices you make, although flexible enough to change your mind when required. You’re comfortable talking to non-technical people, like our clients, in everyday english WRA (Without Resorting to Acronyms).

• experience architecting systems from scratch
• built a variety of applications & websites
• an eye for detail
• pride in your work and tend to leave code in a better place than you found it
• an understanding of how your work fits into the bigger picture
• the ability to talk about your work and your process to the team and others
• an unashamed distrust of wordpress

Must-have skills

• PHP (SOLID OO)
• MySQL
• Git
• HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, and CSS
• Comfortable on the Command line

• Taking business requirements off the paper and turning them into functioning systems and websites
• Architecting and implementing new features to existing projects
• Maintaining and improving existing code
• Supporting our customers when they have technical questions
• CMS / E-commerce system integration
• Driving our tech stack forward as our industry evolves
