Timos, it was not my intent to suggest anyone change to meet a specific role, but rather not everyone can see how you can fit into the role, organization, and culture clearly. I have a friend who is struggling to find a job despite the fact that he is an industry pioneer. He’s literally done so much that people don’t see him in the role that he’s trying to find. It’s like the old Hollywood story about an executive who can’t find work—tries to apply for a janitor role, and doesn’t get it because he’s overqualified.
