This means that whoever comes in the first place he’s allowed to serve first. But this is incorrect. The correct phrase is “First come, first served” which means that he’ll be attended to first who comes at the earliest.

v I could care less

In the above-mentioned phrase, you’re trying to say that you can’t care anymore about a situation. But you’re using it in a wrong way. Rather you should say “I couldn’t care less” which exactly carries your message.

v Slight of hand

Actually, it’s ‘Sleight of hand’ in place of ‘Slight of hand’ which means tricks to deceive with the use of magic or cleverness.

v Piece of mind

Piece means a part of something. Saying ‘Piece of mind’ is not correct. It is “Peace of mind”, the meaning of which is calmness or tranquility. Such phrases are very important for English test preparation strategies. So you should learn their proper use.

v Extract revenge
