On May 12th, 2022, I had surgery to fix my torn ACL, torn medial meniscus, and torn lateral meniscus, all in my left knee.

I recall reading a Medium article saying that you should try to connect with your audience on a personal level. This article doesn’t offer much to readers other than my experience.

The 12th, after my surgery was a difficult day. Every time I sat up or tried walking around on crutches, I felt nauseous. This was due to the anaesthesia, which thankfully has now passed through me, so today I’m able to crutch around without sickness.

Now the problem is the pain! It hurts like hell, and hurts pretty much 24/7. I just took my first narcotic pain pill, so we’ll see how that does!

Anyone else have surgery experiences?
