For the past three years, Bruce K. Long has served as the CEO and founder of BeBop Technology, a Los Angeles-based company specializing in moving media and entertainment workflows to cloud platforms. Among other partnerships, Bruce K. Long has led BeBop into a working relationship with Virtual Post, a content service based in the United Kingdom.

Last September, Virtual Post rolled out a suite of BeBop post-production tools throughout its catalog of ongoing media and advertising projects. By making use of these services, content creators and curators will have access to a full range of virtualized production tools — visual effects, editing, animation, color grading, etc. — deployed through major public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

In his comments, Mr. Long referred to the partnership between BeBop and Virtual Post as a bellwether for the future of decentralized, cloud-based post-production. He said that he is “thrilled” to be working with the talented creative professionals at Virtual Post.
