A short collection of app descriptions
Who said Apple App Store descriptions had to be boring?
The App Description:

The Updates:
Update 2.03 — We’ve Been Cooking Up Something Just For You
First things first, we noticed an absence of blue and white in the cook’s section of the app. So we thought to ourselves, “people like blue and white, what could we add to incorporate some tranquility into the otherwise peaceful cooking section”. Ah Facebook, what would we do without you.
Connect to your Facebook page in your Cook’s Profile, hit that beautiful blue and white share button, and just like the scent of a homemade cookie brings people into the kitchen, share the meal you will be cooking with the world! #likeforlike was so 2015, #shareforashare anyone?
Cool, so that’s done. What next could we do to improve the app, we thought to ourselves. Turns out, we ourselves had forgotten how to improve…
HELP I HAVE FORGOTTEN HOW TO USE THE MARKETING TOOLS said no one ever. Permalinks to onboarding documents in the app are available on the cookside, never forget how to take that perfect photo, use the marketing tools, see our FAQs, and conquer Homemade.
While re-familiarizing ourselves with the onboarding articles, we noticed something new in there. Like the subtle spice of paprika on delicious sweet potatoes, there was a golden gem hanging in the middle of the Marketing Tools document, THE CRM!
Now, from the time you buy ingredients, to the time you slice the first one, you can keep your customers updated along the way. Is that a chef I hear ringing the dinner bell?
Finally, with the new year, we decided to do some cleaning. So we cleaned our desks off, freshened up the office, and cleaned up the app. If our app was a kitchen, it would have an A+ rating. See any new bugs? Drop a line to mike@gethomemade.co
Update X — We’d Like to Thank the Academy for Cleanest App Update…
We want to thank our parents, and our developer for their tremendous support. Cleaning up your app is just as important as cleaning up your kitchen. Inspired by all your new year resolutions, we have been hard at work sweeping away our code and dusting off old lines.
One of our favorite icons in the app, Instagram, was getting a little sticky. So we wiped it clean with some lemon scented cleanser and like your favorite kitchen knife, it just works.
You all raved at us like Chris Hemsworth was walking down the red carpet, yet we are more Tom Hardy in the Revenant. We were flattered but skeptical. After looking into it, we sadly saw that reviews saved in multiples. This has now been taken care of. One person, one meal, one review.
~Hours later~
When we arrived back home, we noticed all our fan mail was missing. Shocking, since our letters are normally organized just like the notification center. We have put a new system in place to ensure your pushes are there until you delete them.
Until next time. Peace, love, and homemade memories
Update:codename:read_me:post_road-BRKBR — This was an easy one
Last week, we thanked the academy. This week, we want to thank the critics. Once again, you all have shown us how to improve. But, next week, we are really looking for a challenge.
Yes we heard your complaints about the troubles you were having manually adding the contacts on the spot. Who knew that could ever be an issue. I guess Homemade is just too popular now? Anyways, this has been fixed.
Speaking of popularity, we know first hand how fans can come and go. And so, with a swipe of the wrist and a flick of the finger (NOT the middle one), they can now be deleted from your CRM.
Ever looking for that special someone, but it seems like they have been deleted from your contact book? This is not a phenomena just a bug and it is now gone. From now on, you will always be able to find that special someone.
Also, we removed the filtering button from the customer side. Sorry, but it had to go back to the test kitchen to be improved. More on that later.
Challenge us. Request new features at mike@gethomemade.co
Update O — Onboarding.new.yay.woohoo.cool
We made something fresh just for you. It’s steamy. It’s hot. It’s round and square. It’s our new onbording flow!
If you are reading this in the nifty app update section, you may never see this change, which we regrettably apologize for. What you will notice, though not with your eyes, are the bug fixes that kept bugging us. Yet, if you find any that we missed, please send an email to mike@gethomemade.co
