SpringX Solana: Forging Deep Bonds in a Lite yet Hardcore Journey
The SpringX Solana Accelerator is a new initiative by the SpringX Accelerator. In collaboration with Solana Superteam, ABCDE, and SevenX Ventures, it offered buidlers and project within the Solana ecosystem a unique acceleration experience.
Typically, the SpringX program lasts for three months, during which cohort members travel to 3–5 global Web3 cities for training sessions, such as SpringX 01 and the MOVE Ecosystem Accelerator. This time, SpringX is collaborating with Solana Superteam to introduce a new acceleration model.
The week-long program offers an extensive array of courses and activities, providing cohort members with comprehensive support, including Web3 course guidance, 1-on-1 pitch training, VC pitch sessions, in-depth collaboration with top Solana projects, official marketing exposure, and participation in various events during Solana Summit 2024.
However, the short-term and premium accelerator has also provided a unique acceleration experience for the founders and co-initiating partners, ultimately meeting or even exceeding their expectations, we were pleased to receive many positive feedbacks from the founders and mentors

SpringX Solana Landscape
In 3 weeks application stage, SpringX Solana received 150 valid applications from around the world (44 were recommended by the Solana Superteam). 33 projects passed the screening. Ultimately, 13 projects were chosen by the co-initiators — SevenX Ventures, ABCDE, Superteam and SpringX to join the SpringX Solana Cohort.
The sectors of the projects admitted include AI, DePin, DeFi, RWA, Social and Gaming. All founding teams have international backgrounds, residing in Europe, North America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and other regions. Members are graduates of prestigious universities and have worked at renowned Web2 and Web3 companies. Many are serial entrepreneurs with years of industry experience.

Mentor Sharing
During the first two days in Malaysia, the 13 founders had the opportunity to officially meet with the Solana Foundation and its ecosystem partners. Insightful speeches were delivered by Jon Wong (Tech Lead at Solana Foundation), Anh Tran (Superteam Lead), Aditya Shetty (Superteam DAO), Siong (Co-founder of Jupiter), Jon (Head of Advisory at ABCDE), and Phil (Co-founder of Airfoil), etc,.
The mentors provided a comprehensive understanding of the Solana ecosystem, discussing how to engage in cultural co-construction and project collaboration within the Solana community. They also shared valuable crypto insights on product design, financing, and market strategies.
Solana Foundation Head of Engineering @Jon Wong talked about landscape and technology trend, also privately shared New tech feature on Solana.
Superteam DAO @Aditya Shetty shared insights and strategy about how to make success on Solana ecosystem.
Jupiter Co-founder @Siong shared insights on building the Jupiter product from 0–1, GTM and MM strategies, as well as experiences and feelings about his entrepreneurship journey.
ABCDE Head of Advisory @Jon discussed the landscape of crypto venture capital funds from a investor perspective and provided founders with guidance on securing financing.
Mythos Ventures Partner @Leon:shared how Web3 projects go to market, as well as strategies for listing and dealing with CEX.
Photons Hedge MP BB Labs Founder @James shared insights as a market maker on how to help projects manage their market cap effectively.
Airfoil Co-founder @Phil shared how UI/UX design can enhance the user experience for Web3 projects and contribute to their success.
Birdeye CEO @Kha shared his experiences building on Solana and how to effectively achieve user growth.
1v1 Pitch Training
From morning until midnight, the founders worked closely with SpringX. Niels, founder of BuidlerDAO & SpringX, and Jane, Head of Research at BuidlerDAO, thoroughly discussed product solutions, tokenomics design, GTM strategies, narratives, and fundraising strategies with 13 projects, which was a highly rewarding process for both parties.
VC Pitch Day
On the final day of the Solana Summit, over 20 investors participated in the SpringX Solana VC Demo session. Each cohort project had 3 minutes to showcase their product. After the presentations, the investors engaged in multiple rounds of 15-minute Speed Dating sessions with each project team to gain a deeper understanding of SpringX Solana’s projects.
More Than an Accelerator: Joint Network of Founders
SpringX is more than an accelerator, but a true founders’ network. Founders connection had been deepened through a series of activities.
Connection Within/ Across Cohorts
During the training breaks, founders spontaneously gathered to share and exchange ideas, facilitating the flow of resources and knowledge.
Dree(EnsoFi) and Vee(Predify) briefly shared situation about the Web3 markets in Vietnam and India, giving founders from other regions an rough understanding of these markets.
Besides communication within the same cohort, there are also many future collaborations and interactions across different cohorts. After two days of sessions, Twyla from Wysdom was selected as the Cohort Monitor for SpringX Solana. The Cohort Monitor plays a crucial role in the founders’ network, responsible for connecting members within the same cohort, organizing a series of online and offline activities, and establishing connections with founders from other SpringX cohorts, fostering cross-cohort communication.
Team Buidling Activities
The one-week accelerator schedule was intense, but it also included moments of relaxation. These relaxed moments allowed everyone to get to know each other better and deepen their connections. At each dinner, participants shared their entrepreneurial experiences and amusing stories, further strengthening their bonds.
During course break, Twyla delivered a stand-up comedy performance, sharing funny stories about Superteam UK. Additionally, she and Maluest were the first to complete the Name Challenge, successfully naming all the SpringX Solana founders and providing a brief introduction, for which they will be awarded a custom commemorative pen.
