Animal Crossing is a social simulation video game series developed and published by Nintendo and created by Katsuya Eguchi. In Animal Crossing, the player character is a human who lives in a village inhabited by various anthropomorphic animals, carrying out various activities such as fishing, bug catching, and fossil hunting. The series is notable for its open-ended gameplay and extensive use of the video game console’s internal clock and calendar to simulate real passage of time.

There are many games from this franchise that I will show you and explain a bit about each one from the most old to the newest.

Animal Crossing Gamecube version.

Gamecube “original case”

Animal Crossing is not like other video games. Here there are no monsters to annihilate, platforms to jump … not even princesses to save. Instead, you’ll have a chance to live a unique experience in a charming little town while befriending all sorts of adorable characters, honestly earning a living trading oranges, or just relaxing at home playing the odd video game. There are dozens of characters to interact with, and mountains of activities to entertain yourself in, from fishing to searching for hidden treasures, to sending letters to friends or decorating your home in your own style. Play with Animal Crossing and, believe us, it will be difficult to return to the real world …

Animal Crossing: Wild World (2005)

Nintendo DS “Original Case”

The game was announced at E3 2004 under the tentative title Animal Crossing DS, where it was revealed to utilize the Nintendo DS touch screen and implement multiplayer capabilities. When development on Animal Crossing: Wild World began, it was decided that nothing was going to be region-specific in order to make the game easier to localize. Therefore, certain events that were originally observed in Animal Crossing, such as those based on Halloween, Christmas, and the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival, are not observed in Wild World. This rule was applied to the variety of fish and insects the player is able to collect.

New Leaf also has an artistic style change, with players and neighbors having more human-like proportions, rather than being taller than seen in previous games, as are Trees, Flowers, and houses. they acquire a more realistic appearance.
