How to participate in Bulleon ICO — Step 2 — Register and buy Ethereum on Coinbase
Now that your MetaMask wallet is set-up and ready for use, it’s time to fill it with Ethereum. To do that, open up your browser and navigate to Coinbase.com.
Next, click the “Sign Up” button, enter you name, email address, choose a password, confirm that you’re human, accept their User Agreement and Privacy Policy, then hit the “Create Account” button.
Coinbase will send a verification email to the email address you signed up with. So, head over to your inbox to view that email, then click the “Verify Email Address” button.
Next, we need to verify our Country and Phone number. So, let’s go ahead and enter your phone number here, then click “Send Code”.
Coinbase will also send a verification code via SMS to your phone. Simply, enter that verification code here, and click “Submit”.
Now, it’s time to add a “Payment Method”. To do that, click the “Buy/Sell” tab, then “Add a Payment method”.
If you plan on investing larger amounts; or would like to be able to buy and sell instantly, then you’ll need to add a Bank Account. Otherwise, choose Credit or Debit Card for small investments. For this tutorial, I’m going to select “Bank Account”.
For security purposes, Coinbase requires that you verify your identity before adding your card. So, go ahead and click the “Upload ID” button to do that… then enter your Credit Card details, and hit the “Add Card” button.
After verifying your ID and Credit Card, click on the “Buy/Sell” tab. Select your Payment method, Enter the amount (in EUR or USD) how much Ether you want buy, and click “Buy Ethereum Instantly”, then hit the “Confirm Buy” button. The “Buy Confirmation” window will open, letting your know that your request is being processed.
Next, click on “Accounts”, “Eth Wallet”, then click “Send”. The “Send ETH” window pops up.
From here, let’s click on the “MetaMask Extension Icon” to go to your MetaMask account, then click these three dots next to “Account 1”, then scroll down and click “Copy Address to clipboard”.
Now all we have to do is go back to Coinbase. Paste the copied address into the ‘Recipient’ field. Enter the amount you would like to withdraw to your MetaMask wallet. Click “Continue”, and confirm your withdrawal to MetaMask.
Congratulations! You’ve now bought Ether and moved it to your personal MetaMask wallet!
