Warning Labels

Warning labels help to identify what precautions are needed to keep in mind while handling that substance; whatever it may be. Maybe the label is on a pill bottle, the warning is to be mindful of the dosage; and the risks of exceeding it. Perhaps it is highly flammable and therefore needs to be kept out of direct heat or sunlight. Maybe it is extremely sensitive to movement and explodes easily so it therefore needs to be handled carefully. The warning labels plastered on these chemicals are there for safety and limiting risk. They don’t lead much to interpretation so the message is delivered loud and clear. But what if we wore warning labels? What would the world know if they could read your biggest flaw as if it was your favourite band on an old T-shirt. My label would read “Fragile, handle with care, gets attached easily”.
