Improved Meet and Greet
We’ve made improvements to how roommates and applicants come together and figure out if they’re a fit. We’ve brought the conversation into one easy chat where you can coordinate a time to meet and get to know each other. From the chat, you can tap into profiles to see each other’s interests and preferred ways of living — and we highlight what you do and don’t have in common so you can focus on the most important topics as you get acquainted.
As your conversations wrap up, the home’s residents vote and provide their feedback. From there, our team reviews their input, follows up with more questions if needed and locks in the decision. And to make sure you’re able to find a great match as fast as possible, Bungalow sticks to a 24-hour meet and greet window so you know ASAP if it’s time to move in or move on.
Interests and Living Preferences on Property Pages
When you’re looking for an apartment, the people you live with are just as important as the place and price. To help you find the best roommates as quickly as possible in your search, you’ll now see new sections on property pages that highlight the interests and living preferences of the current residents living in that Bungalow.
As a current resident in a Bungalow, you don’t have to worry about any identifying information being publicly exposed: property pages pull the combined interests and living preferences from the people living in your home without revealing full names, photos or sensitive details. To make sure your home’s information is up to date, be sure to update your individual Bungalow profile with your latest interests and living preferences.
