An “agreement of intent” does not a confirmed purchase make.

I assume that ‘co-develop’ a 5th-gen fighter actually means that they are desperate for other nations to bail out the T-50/PAK-FA programme?

UAE cash going into that programme in return for some cut-price SU-35s & SU-50s seems like a a pretty good idea.

Also, I’m always doubtful about “blistering speed”.

Fill a Russian aircraft’s massive tanks with fuel & hang those big draggy bombs/missiles they use and I doubt they can break mach 1.8…. which is still good, but perhaps not “blistering”.
