Governments like to keep these things on the hush-hush

Most media, anywhere are pretty clueless about these things…. your average ‘defence correspondent’ is the fellow who was landed with it.

These combine to make arms sales something that garners few column inches.

Also, I wouldn’t get hung up over selling weapons to nations engaged in conflict.

Munitions are built to kill, they aren’t for tickling competitions.

If the client uses them or not is their prerogative.

If the US government suddenly decide to become holier-than-thou over it then clients will take their money elsewhere & exports, taxes & good jobs are lost.
